"Bunker-42" Museum

The Bunker-42 Museum and Patriotic complex is a mysterious object in the very center of the capital at a depth of 65 meters underground, which occupies 7000 square meters. The museum presents a real exposition of a military bunker built for J. V. Stalin. There was a long–range aviation command post here, and the main voice of the USSR, Yu.B. Levitan, broadcast important news of the country. For several decades, until 1986, the bunker served as a strategic command. Bunker 42 has opened its doors to the general public today. In the Stalin's Bunker excursion program, visitors will be able to learn how the bunker is built from the inside and in what conditions those who served year-round at the military facility lived. There is also a restaurant on the territory of the Bunker-42 complex, where museum guests can immerse themselves in the era of the USSR. The restaurant complex consists of 8 halls of different stylizations. The opening of the restaurant was driven by the need for museum guests from all "corners of the world" to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the USSR and continue their day with their loved ones. At the moment, everyone can come to the restaurant, without visiting the excursion programs, but most prefer to combine a visit to the restaurant and an excursion to the museum. For this purpose, Bunker 42 provides special programs for mini groups and individual excursions. The restaurant can also host corporate or private events, birthday parties, concerts, receptions, and conferences. Our specialists have done a lot of work to create the atmosphere of the Soviet era. Professional chefs studied the peculiarities of Soviet cuisine, carefully tested the recipe and only then included it in the specialized menu of the Politburo, which presents the favorite dishes of high-ranking figures of the Soviet era. We have combined modern style and Soviet symbols in the interior of the restaurant halls. The walls are decorated with portraits of historical figures and artifacts from the past. There is also an interactive laser shooting range in the Bunker-42 complex. It is equipped with a special shooting simulator, which is how the Interior Ministry and FSB officers hone their skills. There are 60 different programs, from professional shooting to shooting at evil mice in the pantry, especially for young guests. The museum supports children's recreation and leisure activities. That's why we have a special program for children - "Basic military training." We specifically used the abbreviation of the USSR, taking into account the thematic focus of our bunker. In addition, the children will have a whole flurry of various tasks, activities and mobility, plus a guided tour of the entire bunker, which will be conducted taking into account their young age. The Bunker 42 Museum Complex, once an important strategic facility, continues to serve as a reminder of how fragile the world is and how important the lessons of history are.
