Gogol's House

In 2005, the institution was transformed into the Central City Bibilothek - memorial center «House of Gogol», and in 2009 - into GBUK «House of N. V. Gogol - memorial museum and scientific library». Today «Gogol's House» unites scientific library (fund - more than 250 thousand volumes), research center, exhibition hall and memorial museum. The new, expanded and supplemented exhibition of the museum was opened on 27 March 2009 for the 200th anniversary of the birth of the writer. «House of Gogol» provides an opportunity to meet the spiritual, intellectual and informational needs of all categories of visitors.
