Ilya Glazunov Art Gallery

The Moscow State Picture Gallery of USSR national artist Ilya Glazunov - one of the leading museums of Moscow, located in the historical center of the city, was opened on August 31, 2004. Ilya Sergeyevich Gazunov donated his artistic and graphic works (more than 1,300 paintings) to Moscow. The exhibition of the gallery presents more than 700 paintings of the world-famous artist. Ilya Sergeyevich Gazunov - a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts, an academician, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, honorary member of the Royal Academies of Arts of Madrid and Barcelona, UNESCO’s «Gold Medal of Picasso» for contribution to world culture and civilization, full cavalier of the Order «For services to the Motherland».
