Restaurant of the Central House of Writers

The Restaurant of the Central Authors' House is a legendary place. In 1960's it hosted a famous snack-bar for the soviet writers with a very strict access control mode. The most well-known authors – like Eugeny Evtushenko and Bella Akhmadulina – rejoined here. Todays' "Motley Hall" of the restaurant still keeps on its walls the autographs and drawings by writers and poets "the Sixtiers". Nowadays the CDL restaurant is a museum and a place open for all those who love authentic Russian cuisine: simple, familiar, colourfully served.
