The Theatre of Music and Poetry p/r Elena Camburova was founded in November 1991 on the basis of a creative team of singer and actress, popular artist of the Russian Federation Elena Camburova and originally consisted of three people - the singer herself and two musicians. In the Theatre they experiment with the song genre, look for new forms at the intersection of music and drama, cooperate with composers, singers, playwrights, actors and directors who are interested in musical theater. The basis for the stage performance most often become songs: vocal classics and jazz, modern author’s song and folklore. The theatre values traditions, experiments with music of different countries, times and styles.
