A program on forced hiatus makes a triumphant return in 2021
The first electronic documents used to travel from one country to another began to appear at the end of the last century. The forerunner was Singapore, which introduced Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) technology in 1996. Today, various modifications of this system, as well as fully electronic visas, are in use around the world. These include many countries in Asia, South America and Africa.
